About Me
My Approach
My approach to therapy is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and a person-centered, collaborative style. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, supported and empowered to make meaningful change. Drawing from my experience as a school social worker, I enjoy helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate life's challenges while learning practical tools they can use both in and outside of therapy.
What to Expect
I believe therapy should feel like a safe place where you can be yourself. Every session is tailored to your unique needs and goals, whether that means incorporating creativity and play with children, problem-solving with teens or deeper exploration with adults. My hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, empowered and equipped with tools you can apply in everyday life.
What I Want You to Know About Therapy
Seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, and that's completely normal. You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. Therapy is a space where you can slow down, feel understood and work toward a life that feels meaningful and aligned with your values, one step at a time.
A Little About Me
Outside of work, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband, our two young sons and our yellow lab. I also enjoy practicing yoga, traveling whenever we get the chance, and working on our 1910 home renovation, which has truly become a labor of love.
