I strive to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. My approach is rooted in Person-Centered and Narrative Therapy, while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and creative expression through Art Therapy to meet each client's unique needs. I believe every person's story matters, and I enjoy helping clients build on their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and discover new ways to navigate life's challenges. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy painting, thrifting, taking walks and listening to soul and soft jazz music. I believe asking for help is a sign of strength, and I look forward to walking alongside clients as they begin their journey toward healing and growth.

I believe in creating a person-led, supportive space where clients feel safe, empowered, and accepted for who they are. My approach incorporates creative interventions, including art-based techniques, to support self-exploration, healing and personal growth. I believe clients are the experts in their own stories, and therapy should be a space where they have autonomy in choosing the direction of their journey. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy gardening, backpacking and caring for my bees as a beekeeper. I am passionate about helping clients recognize their strengths, build confidence and discover new ways to express and understand their experiences.

I strive to create a compassionate, patient-centered space where clients feel heard, supported and accepted without judgment. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside clients to explore their experiences, build awareness and identify meaningful steps toward growth and healing. My background as a nurse has deepened my understanding of the connection between mental and physical health, as well as the importance of supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy traveling, learning about different cultures and staying grounded through exercise. I also speak five languages, which has strengthened my appreciation for connecting with people from many different experiences and perspectives.
Meet Our Therapy Interns
At Bluebird Counseling of Western Pennsylvania, we believe in supporting the next generation of compassionate mental health professionals while also making therapy more accessible to our community. Our graduate therapy interns provide high-quality, affordable counseling services at a reduced rate of $30 per session, with a limited number of pro bono spots available for those who qualify.

Working with an intern does not mean you are receiving less support. Our interns are graduate-level clinicians who are actively developing their clinical skills and bringing fresh perspectives, passion and dedication into their work with clients. Each intern receives ongoing supervision from experienced, licensed therapists who provide guidance, feedback and support to ensure clients receive ethical and effective care.

Therapy with an intern can be a great fit for individuals who are open to a collaborative experience and want to be part of helping shape the future of the counseling profession. Our interns are supported every step of the way while creating a safe, compassionate and client-centered space for each person they work with.
If you are interested in working with one of our interns, we invite you to reach out and learn more about available openings.
